After nearly two decades as a neighborhood advocate, Lauren Meister was elected to the West Hollywood City Council in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. She is currently serving her second term as Mayor.
Since being elected to West Hollywood City Council, Lauren has advocated for safer neighborhoods, worked on increasing social services for people who are homeless, and promoted neighborhood-friendly planning and land use policies. Lauren has been a tenacious advocate for West Hollywood residents and businesses. She continues to be the voice of reason on West Hollywood City Council when it comes to issues related to development, mobility, and public safety.
